Today while sitting in class before Phonetics my thoughts turned Columbus Day and just what it means to me. So I thought I'd express my feelings about it in poetry form. I give you Columbus Day:
C is canceled, which school is not
O is for Oh! That's today? I forgot
L is lame protesters all over the campus
U is for unlucky natives, from Nunavut to the Pampas
M is for MSN articles which make me remember
B is for but wasn't that in September?
U is unpopular, what can I say?
S is for Sweet! A non-holiday
