Some news: Haikus (hey that rhymes)

Yes I realize that these haikus were supposed to be written for the new year; and yes I realize that it is now closer to February than New Years; and yes I realize it's been 5 weeks since you've heard anything from us at the Braunsey Blog. So to compensate here are two New Years Haikus. First the apology haiku:

Seventeen days late
This is my year end haiku
Last year- forgotten

And now I can hear you all scratching your heads and muttering "this doesn't summarize 2009 at all". And you are all correct. So with further ado here is my 2009 year in review haiku (hey another rhyme):

So many changes
A new purpose, a new love
Both for the better

Beyond that I am waiting to hear back from a number of less than promising job appliactions and a hopefully more than promising grad school application. That's right, I'll know if I am getting into Edmonton this coming week. So all my readers, cross all of your fingers, toes, eyes, and ears if possible. I'll let you know how it goes as soon as I do.
