In Eric's nature of sound class there the teacher sets up a computer which records what he is saying and transcribes it for notes later. It is always interesting to sit close to the screen because the computer actually spells out the words as he is talking and it makes some odd mistakes. WHenever they talk about sinusoid waves it always assumes that they are really talking about sinus oids. Whatever an Oid is. Today Eric sat in a different spot, one with a a breath-taking view of the screen. And today he caught the best mistake yet.
The professor was half way through explaining something when he completely lost his train of thought. He fumbled around for a while, searching for the right words and eventually gave up saying, "Yeah you can hear me explain it again on Wednesday" what the computer thought he said: "If you hear me explain it again I'll die."
Quite a difference.
